Vintage Japanese Silk Brocade Fabric Hand Bag H1127 Purse - vintage Japanese bag with silk and metallic threads fabric. The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature.
The fabric has a glow from the metallic threads which are orange and gold. There is a woven abstract pattern across the front which may suggest mist. The back has plain woven threads.
The exterior fabric is in very good vintage condition. I took a closeup of the back (photo 6) which shows slight thickening in the weave but I don't think this is a flaw.
Measures 7.25" in length, 6.25" high and 2" wide. Lined in silver satin fabric with two tiny pockets.
The lining has some scratches and smudges, a little discoloration along the top, and a faint mark of glue in the upper corner.
Has a self fabric handle with a 5.5" drop.
