Vintage Japanese Pastel and Gold Silk Hand Bag H1186 Clutch Purse - vintage Japanese bag with silk and metallic threads fabric. The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature.
The fabric has a glow from the metallic threads in pastel shades with a softly rendered garden design. The outside fabric is very clean. The back of the bag has the solid fabric.
Measures 9.5" in length, 6" high and 2" wide. Lined in gold taffeta fabric with 2 small inside pockets and a tiny mirror. The lining is mostly clean but has a stain in the upper corner (last photo).
Has a metal chain with a 7" drop. The shiny chain is on hinges which fold flat to hide the chain inside the bag for a clutch style. There are very minor scratches on the gold rims.
