Vintage Japanese Kimono - Silk Kimono Jacket- Haori- Kimono Jacket KY765
kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan     Has been previously worn but the exterior is in good vintage condition. 
The black silk has a silvery blue horizontal metallic thread pattern woven in and a ribbed texture.
The front left panel, sleeve and the back of the jacket have been dyed with the shibori dye method and have a white pussy willow pattern.  Some of the larger white areas have yellowing.
Lined in a soft ivory silk jacquard which has some spotting from age.  
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.  Measures 48" from sleeve tip to tip.   Length is 28" from back of neck and 30" including collar.  Chest area is 44".  Haori jackets do not wrap and are worn open.  Hip area across the back is 24".   Fits near size 8-10.
