Vintage Japanese Gold and Orange Silk Brocade Fabric Hand Bag H1238 Purse
- light weight vintage Japanese bag with silk and metallic threads fabric.    The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature.
The fabric has a glow from the metallic threads in gold, orange and cream .   The front design has plum blossoms, decorative panels and geometric patterns on a base of light and dark orange ombre.
The outside fabric is very clean.  The back of the bag has the cream and gold woven threads.
However, the base of one side fabric is pulling out from the outer edge (photo 8) and will have to be poked back inside and glued to secure it from fraying.
Measures 8.75" in length at base, 6" high and 2" wide.   Lined in gold taffeta with 1 small inside pocket. There is a tiny amount of discoloration on the linings where they are glued to the sides and one tiny light spot.
Has a metal chain with a 6" drop.  The shiny gold chain is on hinges which fold flat to hide the chain inside the bag for a clutch style.
