Vintage Japanese Gold and Orange Silk Brocade Fabric Hand Bag Fan Pattern H1279 Purse
- light weight vintage Japanese bag with silk and metallic threads fabric. The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature.
The fabric has a glow from the metallic threads in gold, orange and cream . The bright design has pretty fan patterns on a base of gold to orange ombre threads.
The outside fabric is very clean and intact. The back of the bag has the cream and gold woven threads in ombre shading.
Measures 8" in length at base, 6" high and 2" wide. Lined in gold taffeta with 1 small inside pocket.
The lining has two small flaws. One is a dark spot with two specks next to the back rim (photo 9) and the other is a faint spot in the upper corner (last photo).
Has a metal chain with a 6.5" drop. The shiny gold chain is on hinges which fold flat to hide the chain inside the bag for a clutch style.
